In an increasingly digital age, exhibitions are one of the few mediums which gives the company a direct access to its clients  and showcases its products and  services in a more emphatic manner.   • Conferences & Seminars

    At Growth Media & Events we understand that managing a successful conference entails a proactive hands-on administrative approach. This includes the coordination, supervisory and managerial role of all conference logistics to ensure that all elements to the event proceed professionally and promptly and that all stakeholders receive professional, efficient, fast, accurate and helpful assistance.


    This includes developing branding for the conference look and feel; creating and maintaining an information rich conference website which will serve as content hub pre and post the event; delegate management which includes invitation, registration, accreditation, accommodation and transportation; venue liaison and conference publicity.


    Having managed conferences for over a decade we’ve learnt that special attention must be placed on the invitation and recruitment of conference delegates, hence our investment on an accurate and reliable event registration service. This is one of the first experiences conference attendees have and we want this process to go well. Our registration system can provide you and yourattendees with trustworthy, easy-to-use online meeting registration services in a secure environment, as well as process registration through fax and email services.

  • Gala dinners and award functions

    Growth Media & Events has the organisational experience, competence and resource capability to meet delivery requirements of any sized gala dinner and award function having managed in the past 13 years A-gradedinners for up to 2000 guests and smaller intimate gatherings of 60 guests. Our event solutions are tailor made to match the operational needs of our clients. We work off a detailed project plan with constantly updated timeframes  and regular status and consultations with our clients.


    It is our passion for innovation in event management that makes us attend various events in the United Kingdom and United States of America to learn new cutting edge solutions. It is the same passion that ensures we deliver excellent results to our clients repeatedly.

    We provide creative and innovative recommendations to the gala dinner/awards function programme, award recipients, design components and marketing of the event.Having worked at all the major event venues in South Africa, we are able to negotiate cost and provision of facilities with the various convention centres and leading hotel groups and recommend on procurement. Growth Media event manager liaises with the venue to confirm and finalise all operational issues and facilities including food and beverage requirements  as well as to ensure the effective and efficient operation of the event and related functions. We monitor the RSVP’s , supply final numbers and dietary requirements to the venue.


    We take away the hassle from our clients and

    co-ordinate all aspects of the event including but not limited to registration, décor, entertainment, MC, set up, production, seating, food and beverages and the sequencing of events. Prior to the award function, when required Growth Media liaises with the award recipient/s including provision of condensed resumes and topic detail. We ensure receipt of award recipient’s attendance two weeks prior to the event and liaise on any related issues i.e. collation of line-up prior to the event and ensure technical compatibility.At the venue we provide on-site registration and enquiry facilities by utilising our specialised online IT system. We assign a production and Floor Manager to ensure the smooth running of the gala event with special emphasis to the adherence to the programme and timings.

  • Community Events and Imbizos

    Planning and putting together Community Events is one of Growth Media’s strong points. Our understanding and intimate knowledge of the various South African communities both urban and rural distinguish us from other event management companies. We know the protocol that needs to be observed in the different communities taking into consideration the ruling structure i.e. Traditional Council or the civil society structures.


    We have managed community Imbizo’s for a number of clients, one of the highlights being three 400 participant Imbizo’s over a 3-day session in 3 different areas in each of the nine provinces for the National Development Agency (NDA). In six weeks we managed 27 events for 10 800 people. In Kwa-Zulu Natal for example these were held in Dundee, Pongola and Durban while in Limpopo it was held in Tzaneen, Thohoyandou and Phalaborwa.At Growth Media we conceptualise community events with our clients once we’ve established what the objectives are. We look at the various factors at play i.e. target audience, venue proximity, transport logistics and catering. Key to our success in putting together valuable community events is planning and preparing effectively, providing for contingencies, and having a flexible and adaptable approach.   Our originality, creativeness and professionalism are judged on the accomplishment of our clients’ events.

We can organise corporate days for both large and small companies.We are able to co-ordinate the entire day completely to let your staff enjoy the day and entertain your clients without any problems.     We are able to cater for all numbers, from 8 to 72 or more. In addition, if one day is not enough, or even one Course is not enough, we can arrange for extra days and take care of all your transportation and accommodation needs.
